We make good soap. Plain & Simple.
Every ingredient has a purpose. At Root we make cold-process bar soap in a home shop, referred to as the soap lab by friends and family. We use natural , organic, ethically sourced ingredients whenever possible. All bars cure for a minimum of 6 weeks to increase longevity. |

ROOTED IN TRADITION
|
Soap making is almost as old as human history; people figured out a way to use wood ash and animal fats to clean. This knowledge spread, and today there are soap makers all over the world, carrying on the tradition of making artisanal soap. I learned through family tradition, practiced my own formulations by making them for friends, and continuously experiment and refine my processes through knowledge of ingredients and chemistry. I decided to share my love of natural soaps by starting ROOT.
