We make good soap. Plain & Simple.
Every ingredient has a purpose. At Root we make cold process bar soap in a home shop, referred to as the soap lab by friends and family. We use natural , organic, ethically-sourced ingredients whenever possible. All bars are left to cure a minimum of 6 weeks to increase longevity. |

ROOTED IN TRADITION
|
Soap making is almost as old as human history; people figured a way to use wood ash and animal fats to clean. This knowledge spread, and today there are soap makers all over the world, carrying on the tradition of making artisanal soap. I learned through family tradition, practiced my own formulations by making for friends, and continuously experiment and refine my processes through knowledge of ingredients and good ole' chemistry. I decided to share my love of natural soaps by starting ROOT.
