The Gist:
This washboard-style soap dish is made of poplar wood. Use it by the sink or in the shower to keep your artisanal soaps dry between uses. This design has V V-shaped cutouts with a solid back, so there aren't any open spaces, which prevents soap from dripping through to the surface below. This also means the wood doesn't dry as quickly.
The Rest:
Your dish will last longer if you allow it to completely dry out weekly. For best results, keep a rotation of 2 wooden soap dishes.
